Well as of a week ago, we are official graduates of Financial Peace University. And just like traditional schooling, now comes the hard part - continual application of what we’ve learned. We are definitely off to a good start. After just 15 weeks from when we began the class (including proper use of a tax return, sale of a riding lawnmower, and delving into a couple of Ebay auctions) Bryan and I have officially eliminated $10,600 in debt.
Amazing!
What is truly incredible is how little the budget has seemed to affect our spending. We still go out to eat, buy clothes, keep the house maintained, and buy gifts for others. What I really want to know is what were we spending our money on beforehand? Our lives are truly richer since we began FPU. Thanks be to Dave, our class leaders David and Kara, and of course Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! An additional note of appreciation to our family who cared for our daughter while we attended class every Sunday evening.

Yea!! So glad to see another blog post! You guys already know this, but we are SO incredibly proud of what yall have accomplished!!! Keep up the awesome work guys…yall are an inspiration!
